Day 1 -
COMMUNITY OF INDEPENDENCE/WILMINGTON/PHILADELPHIA AIRPORT
Afternoon departure for Philadelphia Airport to board your overnight flight to
Vienna, Austria.

Day 2 - VIENNA
Your tour and cruise begins in Vienna, Austria's beautiful capital city.
Unpack once for a relaxing 6-night Danube River cruise aboard the MS
Amadeus Royal. This lovely ship offers a panoramic deck, panorama
salon and bar, excellent cuisine, and outstanding service.

Day 3 -
VIENNA SIGHTSEEING
A local guide will join us to explore Vienna's imperial architecture.
See the lavish Hofburg Palace, the impressive Vienna Opera
House, the majestic Ringstrasse and awe-inspiring St.
Stephen's Cathedral. Your city tour concludes at
Vienna's Christmas Market near the town hall.
this afternoon is at leisure to explore Vienna's baroque
elegance or perhaps sample some of her famous pastries.
Another delicious dinner this evening.

Day 4 - VIENNA/EMMERSDORF/WACHAU
VALLEY
This morning cruise through the romantic Wachau Valley, dotted with
magnificent castles and small riverside towns. Arrive
in the town of Emmersdorf for an optional excursion to the
nearby town of Durnstein and the 900-year old Benedictine
Melk Abbey, one of Europe's largest baroque monasteries.
While cruising this afternoon enjoy a short lesson on
keywords and phrases that will help you communicate with the
locals.

Day 5 - PASSAU
Early morning arrival in the town of Passau, situated at the
confluence of the Danube, In and Ilz Rivers.
Experience a leisurely walking tour of this 2,000 year-old
fairytale town with grand architecture, quaint cobblestone
streets, Cathedral and its Christmas Market.
After dinner, enjoy on-board entertainment in the ship
lounge.

Day 6 - REGENSBURG
Magnificent Regensburg is one of Germany's best preserved medieval
cities with nearly 1,400 historic buildings including the
old Town Hall and the Porta Pretoria, gates to an ancient
Roman fort built in 179 AD. You'll hae a morning
walking tour of this fairytale city and an afternoon to
explore the Christmas Market, where you can shop for tree
ornaments, wooden toys and local handicrafts and marvel at
the festive lights and decorations. Tonight celebrate
with wonderful food at the Captain's Gala Dinner followed by
music and entertainment.

Day 7 - NUREMBERG
Cruise across the Continental Divide to Roth, where a short transfer
takes us into picturesque Nuremberg. A local guide
will provide an interesting tour of this historic city
featuring its 900-year old ramparts, the Imperial castle and
the Justice palace, where the War Crimes Tribunal sat in
1946. Ray will lead you through this world-famous
Christmas Market.

Day 8 -
NUREMBERG/DISEMBARK SHIP/ROTHENBURG/WURZBURG
Disembark ship in Nuremberg and continue to Rothenburg, an absolutely
beautiful medieval walled town. Ray will show you some
of the town's hidden treasures and its charming Christmas
Market dating back to 1628. Late afternoon arrival
in Wurzburg, an ancient Franconian wine town which boasts
the largest ceiling fresco in the world and the oldest
bridge on the River Main.

Day 9 - DEPART FOR HOME
Morning transfer to the Frankfurt Airport for your return to
Philadelphia where a motorcoach will be waiting to transfer
you to Wilmington and Independence.
