Day 5 - KRAKOW         
Krakow is a shining gem in the center of Europe. It is a city firmly rooted in its long and deep history and yet embraces a modern lifestyle, culture and comforts nestled in the foothills beside the Vistula River. We’ll join a local expert to explore the Market Square, St. Mary’s Church and the university. See the famous Wawel Castle, former residence of Polish kings. This afternoon enjoy the Old town, or perhaps join an optional excursion to a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Wieliczka Salt Mines.  Meals:B

Day 4 - WARSAW/CZESTOCHOWA/KRAKOW 
Travel south this morning to Krakow, stopping enroute in Czestochowa, the spiritual capital of Poland, where each year over 5 million pilgrims journey to pay their respects to the famous Black Madonna. Housed in the Jasna Gora monastery, journey inside for an upclose look at this miraculous image. Then continue to Krakow where this evening you are introduced to a traditional Polish Culture during a folklore show and dinner complete with wine and beer.   Meals:B,D

Day 8 - WROCLAW/TORUN
Travel today to the northern town of Torun, a UNESCO World Heritage site and birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus, the famous astronomer. Torun lies on the Vistula River and is one of the oldest medieval cities in Poland. It is Considered one of the “Seven Wonders of Poland”. On arrival walk past Copernicus’s house before stepping back into history while baking and sampling your very own gingerbread.   Meals:B

It’s a delightful city and your morning tour includes touring the City Hall and St. Mary’s Church. Then a relaxing excursion to the popular seaside resort of Sopot, Poland.  Meals:B

Day 11 - GDANSK/MALBORK CASTLE/WARSAW      
Your journey through Poland comes full circle with your return to Warsaw. Enroute, stop in the town of Malbork, home to Malbork Castle, dating from 1274, it is the largest Gothic fortress in Europe. A guided tour of this 700-year old structure introduces you to the world of the Knights of the Teutonic Order. Join your fellow travelers for a farewell dinner this evening.  Meals:B,D

Enjoy your morning tour of this colorful and ethnically diverse city.
