Day 3 - KNOXVILLE/NASHVILLE
Arrive in Nashville at noon, enjoy an independent lunch before we check into our lovely hotel for three nights where there is so much to see and do! The hotel is filled with beautiful decorations, thousands of poinsettias, and countless shops. Your room will have a private balcony, bay window or patio overlooking the atrium. Day 2 - WINSTON-SALEM/ASHEVILLE/
OAK RIDGE, TN
Arrive mid-morning in Asheville to visit the great Biltmore Mansion, beautifully decorated for the holiday season. In 1887, George Vanderbilt selected architect Richard Morris Hunt to build his mansion in the style of a French chateau. At one time it was the largest private home in America. Tour independently with an audio tape. A delicious Christmas lunch at the Deerpark Restaurant on the estate. Continue to Oak Ridge,TN for overnight. Meals:B,L
Day 7 - ROANOKE/CHARLOTTESVILLE/HOME
Travel to Charlottesville, VA to visit Jefferson’s innovative Monticello for a guided tour. Thomas Jefferson, the author of the Declaration of Independence and third president of the United States, called it his “essay in architecture”. Monticello is a remarkable integration of his love of classical architecture and passion for modern innovation. Lunch at the historic Mitchie Tavern where patriots and Presidents have dined. Continue home, arriving in the early evening. Meals:B,L

Celebrate the Christmas season for three nights at the beautiful Nashville Opryland Hotel. Each year Opryland creates a glittering holiday extravaganza, sparkling with nearly two million lights. Nine acres of indoor gardens are lavishly decorated with brilliant displays of holiday ornaments and huge sparkling trees! Along with the feasting and festivities you will also enjoy two performances at the Grand Ole Opry and a Holiday Dinner show at the hotel. Day 4 - NASHVILLE
We meet our local guide this morning and begin our day with a visit to the RCA Studio B on renowned Music Row. This is the oldest studio in Nashville and one of the most famous studios in the world. Learn the stories, hear the hits and feel the rhythm of the songs that were recorded in Studio B by some of the famous artists of all time. Continue to the Country Music Hall of Fame, a mecca of colorful exhibits, glittery costumes and musical instruments. After lunch on your own in the downtown area, we continue to the Historic Ryman Auditorium, original home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974. This former home of the Grand Ole Opry shares the story of Nashville the river town and how the Ryman came to be. Next visit an indoor winter wonderland featuring two million pounds of ice sculptures carved by 40 artisans from Harbin, China! Dinner on your own at the hotel before departing for a special Holiday Show at the Grand Ole Opry. Meals:B,L,D
Day 5 - NASHVILLE
A morning on your own to explore the hotel’s shops and to enjoy the marvelous decorations. A lunch cruise, comedy and fun on the General Jackson Showboat! Remainder of your afternoon is at leisure to continue exploring your hotel and shopping in some of the many shops. Tonight dinner is on your own and then another great show at the Grand Ole Opry!
