Day 1 - COMMUNITY OF INDEPENDENCE/WILMINGTONE CITY
Transfer to Philadelphia Airport to board your flight to San
Francisco, "City by the Bay." take in a fabulous view this
evening as you dine at Fisherman's Wharf overlooking the bay and the
Golden Gate Bridge.

Day 2 -
SAN FRANCISCO SIGHTSEEING/AFTERNOON AT LEISURE
Your
morning guided tour highlights the Golden Gate Bridge, Twin Peaks,
Fisherman's Wharf and more. This afternoon hop on a cable car for
a ride to Union Square, center of the city. Dine at leisure
tonight at one of many fine restaurants.

Day 3 -
SAN FRANCISCO/SONORA
Your morning is at leisure before traveling east through central
California to Sonora. In its gold rush heyday, Sonora was the
cosmopolitan city of 1848, attracting people from all over the world.

Day 4 -
SONORA/YOSEMITE/SONORA
A marvelous drive into the Sierra Nevada Mountains running 70 miles
east to west across California. These mountains feature three
National Parks including Yosemite, plus Lake Tahoe, and Mount
Whitney, highest point in the lower 48 states. We'll tour through
Yosemite's amazing waterfalls, deep valleys, Alpine meadows and pristine
wilderness. Meals BD

Day 5 -
SONORA/JAMESTOWN/SONORA
Travel to Jamestown to visit Railtown, a 1897 historic state park
featuring turn-of-the century locomotives and railcars. High
Noon, The Virginian and Petticoat Junction were filmed
here. Arrive in Sacramento for a panoramic tour including
Governor's Mansion where Ronald Reagan once resided, and the State
Capitol Building. Old Sacramento's historic district will show you
gold rush-era buildings, wooden sidewalks, cobblestone streets and
antique gas lamps when the "49ers" flocked here by the thousands during
the California Gold Rush. A fine dining experience this evening on
the Delta King, an authentic 285 foot riverboat stationary restaurant on
the Sacramento River. Meals BD

Day 6 -
SACRAMENTO/LAKE TAHOE/SACRAMENTO
Continue through the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the resort gambling
town of Lake Tahoe. On arrival, enjoy a narrated cruise of
spectacular Lake Tahoe aboard the MS Dixie II paddle wheeler.
Later, make a visit to a nearby casino to try your luck or explore the
shops before returning to Sacramento. Meals

Day 7 -
SACRAMENTO/SONOMA/SANTA ROSA
A visit to Sacramento is never complete without a stop at the
California State Railroad Museum, considered to be one of the best
railroad museums in the United States. Enjoy the detailed exhibits
and the many historic stories told by your guide. Later take a
short drive into Sonoma County, home to one of California's most fertile
wine-growing regions. special stops will be made for a local
winery tour and tasting and at an olive oil press to sample many types
of fresh olive oil. Meals B

Day 8 - SANTA ROSA/NAPA
VALLEY/SANTA ROSA
An exciting day as we travel in the famed Napa Valley for wine tasting
before boarding the elegant Napa Valley Wine Train. Sit
back and relax as the incredible scenery, famous vineyards, and a
delicious meal complete the luxurious atmosphere. Return to Santa
Rosa where tonight you'll enjoy a farewell dinner complete with local

Day 9 - SAN
FRANCISCO AIRPORT/HOME
Morning transfer to the airport for our return flight to Philadelphia
where transportation will be waiting to return to Wilmington and
Independence.
