TOUR INCLUSIONS: Roundtrip transportation from Independence, Newark and Wilmington to Philadelphia Airport * roundtrip air Philadelphia/Denver, (air taxes subject to change until ticketed) *  hotel accommodations for 8 nights in double  occupancy * admissions to all sightseeing and train rides * meals include 7 breakfasts and 4 dinners * taxes and gratuities for hotels and included meals * luggage handling at hotels of one suitcase per person * services of a Collette Tour Director *  accompanying Tour Director from 4 Seasons Tours with a minimum of 15 passengers *

CONDITIONS:  A deposit of $600 is due with each reservation and should be received by March 20, 2022.  Final payment is due May 20, 2022. Trip cancellation /interruption insurance is $229 and is highly recommended.


CANCELLATIONS:  Deposit of $600 is refundable until May 20, 2022.  After May 20, 2022,  no refunds.

Day 4 – CANYONLANDS NAT. PK., UTAH, ARCHES NAT. PK., GRAND JUNCTION     
One amazing Park follows another! In Canyonlands, marvel at the vast landscapes of gorges carved by the Colorado River. From the Island in the Sky mesa, sandstone cliffs soar 1,000 feet above the surrounding
canyons. In Arches National Park see the world’s largest concentration of natural sandstone colorful arches before returning to Grand Junction.   Meals:B

Day 8 - COLORADO SPRINGS/MANITOU SPRINGS/ COLORADO SPRINGS      
Another day of wonderful activities. Journey aboard the Pike’s Peak Cog Railway, the world's highest Cog Railway for magnificent views and later travel to the Garden of the Gods to take in the towering sandstone formations that dot the landscape. Tonight enjoy a farewell dinner and celebrate your adventure!    Meals:B,D

Depart today for the airport and your return flight to Philadelphia where transportation will be waiting to return you home. 

Day 6 - DURANGO/MESA VERDE NATIONAL PARK/DURANGO 
An incredible day as awaits you in Mesa Verde Park, home of ancient Ancestral Puebloan civilization.  It’s your choice! Join a local guide on a drive through the park making photo stops for views of the cliff dwellings and Cliff Palace or join a National Park Ranger on a short hike down the canyon to one of the cliff dwellings where  you can soak in views of the valley and of the homes carved along the cliffs. This evening dinner on a family owned ranch surrounded by red mountain peaks and lush green valleys.    Meals:B,D

Day 2 - ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK  
Travel through Boulder, a scenic university town with striking reddish-brown foothills known as the Flatirons. We’ll stop in Estes Park, a mountain resort town and home of the Stanley Hotel, the inspiration for Stephen King’s The Shining. Then travel the Trail Ridge Road, a drive that should be on everybody’s bucket list! At Rainbow Curve marvel at the majestic mountains that stand in contrast
to deep, rugged canyons. Return to Denver for a free evening in this dynamic city.      Meals:B

Day 3 - COLORADO NATIONAL MONUMENT 
The spectacular Rocky Mountains are our traveling companion today as we make a scenic drive from Denver to Grand Junction, passing many of Colorado’s famous Ski Resorts enroute to the spectacular landscapes of the West - Colorado National Monument. We’ll travel the Rim Rock Drive to see colorful deep sheer-sided canyons and high rock towers. Arrive in Grand Junction with two nights at the Doubletree Hotel. Dinner this evening at a local restaurant that attracts, locals, outdoorsmen and all manner of free spirits.    Meals:B,D
DOUBLETREE HOTEL

Experience the grand landscapes of the American West as you travel from Denver to Colorado Springs. Visit 4 National Parks including Mesa Verde National Park, Canyonlands National Park in Utah, Arches National Park and Rocky Mountain National Park! Board the Durango/Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, a coal-fired, steam powered locomotive with spectacular views!  It’s exciting, colorful and scenic so join us for an exceptional vacation!

Day 5 -  GRAND JUNCTION/SILVERTON/DURANGO           

Head south to Silverton, a former silver mining town and now a National Historic Landmark hidden high in the San Juan Mountains. Great shopping here for silver jewelry! Then it’s “all aboard” the Durango/Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad pulled by a coal-fired, steam operated locomotive maintained in original condition. The views are spectacular!  Our destination is Durango, another great western town.    Meals:B

Day 7 - DURANGO/COLORADO SPRINGS   
A relaxing ride through San Juan National Forest and across Wolf Creek Pass, a section of the Continental Divide that took the pioneers two to three weeks to cross. Continue to Colorado Springs, an artistic and cultural hub.      Meals:B
