A morning motorcoach tour around Halifax introduces city landmarks or enjoy a visit to the Halifax Public Gardens with an expert guide who shares insights on the Victoria heritage and ornamental plantings on this historic 17-acre site. Day 2 - SEASIDE LUNENBURG & PEGGY’S COVE     
Drive to the fishing village of Lunenburg this morning stopping enroute in the maritime town of Mahone Bay, considered one of the most attractive towns in Canada. It is renowned for the view across the harbor of its three prominent churches Anglican, Lutheran, and United and has appeared on many postcards and calendars. Explore Lunenburg your way, a walking tour with a local guide or a visit to the local Fisheries Museum. This afternoon you’re off to Peggy’s Cove, a small village with lobster boats moored in the harbor and colorful wooden houses lining the tiny inlet.  Return to Halifax and enjoy dinner in your hotel this evening.   Meals:B,L

Day 6 - A BRIDGE TO HISTORY IN NOVA SCOTIA 

Cross 8-mile long Confederation Bridge, which joins Prince Edward Island to the province of New Brunswick, and then continue on to Nova Scotia for a locally guided tour of the Port-Royal National
Historic Site and the Habitation. Spend the evening at leisure in your hotel, Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa, overlooking the Bay of Fundy. The town of Digby has long enjoyed its reputation as Canada’s

Day 7 - WHALE WATCHING CRUISE    
Head out for a whale watching cruise on the Bay of Fundy this morning - you’ll have an opportunity to spot finback, minke and humpback whales, along with lots of seals. Or just enjoy time in Digby before returning to the hotel where our farewell dinner will be held this evening.    Meals:B,L,D

Day 8 - JOURNEY HOME 
Depart our hotel for the airport, stopping enroute at Grand-Pre National Historic Site to see the church and cemetery of the Acadian village that inspired Longfellow’s poem “Evangeline”. Continue to the airport for our return flight to Philadelphia where transportation will be waiting to return you home. Meals:B

Day 5 - PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND NATIONAL PARK

& GREEN GABLES     
Spend the morning as you please before driving to the extraordinary landscapes of Prince Edward Island National Park. You’ll view its unusual features including salt marshes rich in wildlife, freshwater ponds, dramatic bluffs, and quaint fishing villages as you travel along the island’s coastline. Of note is the view from Orby Head, the park’s highest point – just one of many delights. Visit Green Gables House, which is the farmhouse immortalized by famed author Lucy Maud Montgomery in her tales of the red-headed orphan. Savor a traditional lobster dinner this evening - a must-have experience in the Maritimes!   Meals:B,D

Day 1 - INDEPENDENCE/NEWARK/WILMINGTON/PHL AIRPORT                                
Morning departure takes us to PHL Airport for our direct flight to Halifax where we will be met and transferred to our lovely downtown hotel. A welcome reception and dinner this evening at the Citadel, an historic fortress on a hilltop overlooking the city and the harbor.  Meals:D

Day 4 - TO PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND BY FERRY   
From Nova Scotia a ferry crossing takes you to Wood Islands, the gateway community to Prince Edward Island. After lunch at a waterfront inn continue to Charlottetown, where you’ll go on a guided walking tour. Your hotel is just steps from the Charlottetown boardwalk and Peake’s Wharf.    Meals:B,L
