Day 7 - CHARLESTON, WV/HOME   
Morning departure for home stopping enroute for lunch. Arrival in Wilmington in the late afternoon   followed by Newark and Independence.   Meals:B,L

History in the Great Hall and some gift shop time. Lunch in the Derby Cafe followed by a visit to the Vault in the museum, where you experience a unique presentation with a museum curator as they take you through an up-close journey through Thoroughbred racing history using rare artifacts not currently on display. Return to our hotel to relax or perhaps walk through the rooftop gardens before dinner in the main dining room of the hotel.   Meals:B,L,D

Day 1 – INDEPENDENCE/NEWARK/WILMINGTON/MEADOWLANDS, PA                        
Our morning departure takes into scenic Western Pennsylvania with lunch at the delightful Nemacolin Woodlands Resort followed by a guided tour of their Hardy Art collection. Continue on to Meadow Lands, PA for overnight. Dinner this evening at Atria’s neighborhood Italian Restaurant.   Meals:L,D

Day 6 - THOROUGHBRED FARM/CHARLESTON, WV     
Enjoy breakfast at our hotel before we depart for the Kentucky Horse Farm, a must see for lovers of these magnificent animals. It is the only park dedicated to man’s relationship with the horse. All breeds of horses are represented with three outstanding museums and daily equine presentations. Your visit includes a trolley ride to see the park. Continue to Charleston, WV for overnight.  Meals:B,L

Day 3 - CINCINNATI/ARK ENCOUNTER  
Cross over the Ohio river this morning into Williamsport, Kentucky with our first stop at the Ark Encounter. The Arc is massive and is a three-story focal point of the park, 510 feet long and 85 feet wide. It is the largest timber-frame structure in the U. S. The many exhibits are designed to explain and engage visitors in Bible Stories. It will no doubt amaze and inspire 

Day 4 - LOUISVILLE SIGHTSEEING/KENTUCKY DERBY MUSEUM     
Our local guide will join us for a guided tour of Louisville, also known as the Bourbon City. You’ll see many unique sights including the Slugger Museum. A great tour of the Kentucky Derby Museum where you will experience the most dynamic celebration known worldwide as the “Greatest Two Minutes in Sports”. Tour Churchill Downs and enjoy an 18-minute film on the Derby 

Day 5 - LOUISVILLE/NONESUCH/LEXINGTON

 A picturesque drive through the lush green countryside with stone fences and horse farms takes us to Shaker Village, to learn about the Shakers, their daily lives and work values. Enjoy touring some of their 19th century structures, listen to a musical performance of Shaker songs, and enjoy an included lunch. It is a fascinating experience. Move on to Buffalo Trace Distillery, the longest continuously operating bourbon distillery in 

Another adventure as we travel west into Pennsylvania for a special lunch and overnight before continuing the next day into Cincinnati, Ohio for dinner aboard the Belle of Cincinnati Riverboat! Next day finds us in Williamsport, KY, home to the massive Ark structure, to enjoy several exhibits! Overnight for two nights at the 5 star Brown Hotel, a legend in Louisville that has been welcoming guests for generations! Lots of touring in Louisville with our local guide including a visit to the “Vault”! More excitement in Lexington, your home for two nights, with our guide showing us the city highlights including the Kentucky Horse Park! Fine food at fine restaurants, lovely accommodations and the gentle people of the South to mingle with. Other groups do this tour but we do it right! 

Day 2 - MEADOWLANDS/CINCINNATI
After a tasty breakfast we depart for the city of Cincinnati, with arrival in the late afternoon. Dinner tonight on the Belle of Cincinnati Riverboat as it sails the Ohio River. Overnight in Cincinnati. Meals:B,D
